Powabyke –
Powabyke Revom T2 Review.
I would just like to thank Frank from Powabyke for arranging me to trial the T2.
First impressions it’s a stunning looking well-built e-trike and loved the blue colour.
Being a low step through made it easy for me as a senior with health issues to get on and off safely with parking brakes applied that comes fitted as standard. The display and controls were very easy to understand and use. I particularly liked the display.
Having a rear motor with a differential on the back axil, I found it very maneuverable responsive in all assist levels and also seemed very quiet compared to a front hub motor. Having the motor at the rear also the steering seemed much lighter and responsive. The front suspension forks worked well to soak up the bumps too.
I also liked the hydraulic disk brakes fitted as standard on all 3 wheels as the stopping power was great. Also, would mean less maintenance than cable disk brakes.
As for carrying things the large cool bag in the rear basket was ideal and with the extra front cargo basket came in very handy to.
In conclusion after a few days trial pottering about doing around 60 miles total I would recommend anyone thinking of getting a very stable and well-balanced e-trike to contact Frank and his team as they mentioned also have a large network of bike shops stocking and servicing the Powabyke range.
